A survey “Interns Revealed” is circulating until July 7 to collect enough responses to back the advocacy work with the very much needed numbers and statistics. Any help from your side to spread it will be greatly appreciated. We have 2000 responses so far, only 188 from UK so we would really need you help with this.
However much I’d like to comment on the survey I can’t because I haven’t actually ever been an intern. No joy even getting on to a scheme – although admittedly I only apply for paid positions. I already do two days of volunteer work in my chosen field, for which I get expenses, so why work 5 days a week for less??
Heather- quite right- if you want to talk to the documentary producer I;ve posted on the top of the site go for it- I think it would be good to have both sides of the experience. ie. interns and those who can’t/won;t intern. Thanks! Rosy IA
